Questions About Our Walks?
Everything you need to know about Dunmore East cliff paths, harbour strolls, and estuary adventures
Our Dunmore East walks range from 45 minutes (harbour stroll) to 2.5 hours (full cliff path experience). We're not about rushing—you set the pace. We build in rest points, photo stops, and we're happy to adjust timing based on how you're feeling that day.
The harbour walk is paved and flat with no elevation gain—perfect if you use a walking aid. The cliff path has some gravel sections and modest inclines, but we've got alternatives and can advise on which sections work best for your needs. Chat with us before booking and we'll find the right fit.
Just wear comfortable shoes with good grip and bring a light jacket—coastal weather changes fast. Our walks are designed for active retirees, not hardcore hikers. If you're comfortable walking around your neighbourhood, you're ready for us.
Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) are ideal—mild weather and fewer crowds. Summer's busier but gorgeous. Winter's quiet and moody if you don't mind cooler temperatures. We run year-round, so pick what suits you.
Absolutely. The estuary's a hotspot for herons, curlews, cormorants, and if you're lucky, seals. We're not hardcore birdwatchers, but we know where to look and bring binoculars. Spring and autumn migrations are particularly good times.
We do both. Group walks are great for meeting other walkers, and private bookings work well if you'd prefer to explore with friends or family at your own rhythm. Get in touch and we'll arrange what works best.
